Nicaragua
I first travelled to Nicaragua through Costa Rica with a small group of friends all wanting the experience. We landed in Liberia and traveled by bus to Los Chilies Costa Rica. We then traveled from Los Chilies to San Carlos, Nicaragua and then on down river to El Castillo.
We had a great time in El Castillo where we went through the fortress that sits on-top of the hill overlooking the town and the Rio San Juan de Nicaragua. Also went tarpon fishing on the river and had a caiman hunt on the river at night.
